Step Two
Once your camper is registered, go over to The Camp Spot, and order their uniform. Campers are expected to wear camp uniform comprised of a Waukeela green or white top and green or white bottoms throughout the day. Check out the packing list to see how much stuff you will need to order. During our opening day, we do offer pre-loved uniforms for purchase at a discounted price. We recommend ordering the uniform as soon as possible to make sure you get it in time for camp. If you would like, you could also have it shipped to camp and it will be waiting on your camper’s bed when they arrive.
Step Three
Head over to our current families site where you will find the Parent Handbook, it will require you to put a password in to access. This password is in your welcome email. This Parent Handbook has all the information you will need throughout the summer.
Step Four
Even though we consider our entire Waukeela family to be sisters, each new camper also gets a specific camp big sister who will help her transition into life at camp! A month before camp begins, your daughter will receive a letter from her big sister introducing her to life at Waukeela. On opening day, your big sister will show you around, introduce you to friends, and help with any first-time camp jitters. Big sisters serve as fantastic mentors to our new campers and are there to help answer any questions your daughter may have about camp. Encourage your camper to speak with their camp sister, this will help ease any nerves or stress they might be feeling about camp.

What better way to share the love of Waukeela with another deserving family and camper?
New families and campers are the lifeblood of the future of camp, and like all camps, we need a steady flow of new youngsters every year. Your help in finding new campers for us really is so crucial because as everyone knows word of mouth recommendations are the best way to recruit new families.
-
Both families receive $250 once registration is complete
-
Both campers (the current and referred camper) will receive a limited edition Share The Love T-shirt
-
The referring camper will receive exclusive access to the Pineneedlers Club
I understand some of you may want to keep Waukeela a ‘secret’, but Gill & I urge you to look at your families, friendship circles, and co-worker circles to find one or two new campers.
Thank you in advance for helping us help more campers experience the magic of Waukeela!
For the love of camp!

Thank you SO much! Summer had the most amazing time - from riding, swimming, hiking and meeting her new best friends! She made memories to last a lifetime. I can't begin to tell you how much we appreciate all of you. She already committed to coming next year. My family and I had the chance to visit NH for a few days after we dropped her off. We stayed at Snow Village Inn. The area is so beautiful and we can't wait to come back.

Thank you all for taking such wonderful care of Lucy and Poppy. They were both saddened (oh, the tears!) by the end of camp, which we take to mean that they were deeply affected by the friendships they made. I see growth in both of them and was proud of Lucy’s participation in the play (which was hilarious). We thank you for maintaining the rich traditions of camp. Other than a sense of increased intention and inclusivity, camp seems not to have changed much since I was a camper 30 years ago. Lucy was wondering if she could have the contact information of her counselors - Hannah and Ebony - so she could send them a message. She adored them, misses them, and would like to thank them for a wonderful summer. Thanks again to you all. And we’ll look forward to seeing you next year.

“Thank you for everything - my kids had a blast! They said it was the best session they've had at Waukeela and gave it an 11 out of 10:). You are great at what you do - thank you for making Waukeela a special place it is - my kids love you!”

“Even though Alejandra did not want to go to summer camp to the US in the first place, as she thought our summer plans in Spain were “unbeatable”, and could not be missed, the first thing she said when she landed back in Spain was…. “Dad, would it be possible for me to go next year again, please? I know it is expensive and a supper effort, please please please, may I…” We all feel Waukeela has been the best thing that happened in her life in recent times, and that it has made such an incredible good impact on her. THANK YOU !!! She did not even mind not having had access to her mobile, which we all know that for teenagers in the current years we are going through. Last but not least, we noticed a huge improvement all those weeks AFTER summer camp, with her being much more family-oriented, voluntarily spending time with us during lunch and dinner … which the year before she was always trying to avoid. Better attitude, increased happiness – all in all, such a better place to be for us as a family. We feel this is directly related to her stay at Waukeela, she has obviously learnt A LOT with you.”
