We are a girls’ summer camp committed to bolstering self-possessed, compassionate young women by promoting the fierceness of friendship and the power of self-discovery. We offer programs for girls ages 7-16.

Waukeela campers who return year after year truly grow up at summer camp. Campers follow a progression through our summer program, starting with a two-week Introductory Camp for first-time campers. Waukeela offers two, 3 ½ week overnight camp sessions. Each program is designed to provide age-appropriate growth and leadership opportunities for all Waukeela girls.

Be Your Best Self

Whether you love sports, arts or adventure, Waukeela has many fantastic activities! We offer over 30 activities in performing arts, creative arts, land sports, water sports, and outdoor adventure. As a part of our program, Waukeela campers get the chance to try many activities they have never experienced before, in addition to choosing their own favorite activity each day. Waukeela also offers a fantastic adventure program where campers can canoe, hike, backpack, and climb right in our own beautiful backyard.

The Pine Grove

Camp Waukeela is located in Eaton, New Hampshire — we are two and a half hours north of Boston, Massachusetts, and just one hour from Portland, Maine. For those who don’t live nearby, two international airports are a short distance away from which we offer transportation services.

There’s no place on earth like Waukeela! Majestic pine trees, a crystal clear lake, and 45 acres of absolute beauty make up our summer home and campus that we call The Pine Grove. In addition to expansive outdoor space, we have more than 56 buildings to house our indoor activities, dining, living, and more.
