Waukeela campers who return year after year truly grow and feel a sense of belonging to our wonderful community. Campers follow a progression through our summer program starting at the age of seven – 17. For first-timers, Waukeela offers the opportunity to try the Waukeela experience with our highly successful two-week Introductory Camp.
Camp Waukeela also offers two, 3-and-a-half-week overnight camp sessions. Over time we are seeing more campers stay for the full seven weeks. Each program is designed to provide age-appropriate growth and leadership opportunities for all Waukeela campers. A high percentage of our campers go through all three sessions, and then become Counselors in Training (known as CITs), then go on to become counselors.
