Founded in 1921, Waukeela is one of the pioneering camps for girls in the United States, and is proud to be accredited by the New England Division of The American Camping Association.
Located at the eastern edge of the White Mountains, Waukeela is set on 45 acres of pine forest with frontage on beautiful Crystal Lake. Camp is 2 1/2 hours north of Boston, 1 hour west of Portland, Maine, and 10 minutes southeast of Conway, New Hampshire. But for those who come each summer, it fills a region all its own.
Enrollment: 115 campers age 8-16; 55 staff
Program Length: Two 4 week sessions or one 8-week session from late June through mid-August; 2 week sessions available for those in their first year of overnight camp who are entering 3rd - 5th grades in the fall
2008 Rates: $2,500 for 2 wks; $4,250 for 4 wks; $6,000 for 8 wks
