Waukeela’s newest activity delights campers looking for an extreme adventure experience. On the zip line, campers age 8-89 buckle into a harness, attach to a cable, and climb 60 feet up a tree trunk to a tiny platform where a counselor awaits. From the platform you get a real bird’s eye view of Junior Alley! When ready, campers jump off the platform and soar through the air along the line to a tree over 100 yards away. This provides quite a rush as well as a sense of personal achievement, and as such the majority of campers choose to participate in it each summer. Ready to zip? Zip away!
