A Junior Thought for Appreciation Service
Have you ever seen a baby wake from a nap, a bright smile spreading across her face? Seeing something like that fills you with a flowing rush of happiness that is pure magic, pure enchantment of the type that fills every hollow here at Waukeela.
Coming here every year reacquaints me with that wonderful feeling. In our car, coming from behind Crystal Lake, my sister and I strain in our seatbelts, our noses pushed against the glass, watching the trees go by.
Then suddenly, the treeline breaks and Crystal Lake comes into view; shining, enchanting, perfect, and I become filled with that pure magic, breathing it in and smiling deep inside in a special place reserved only in the pine trees. I hope that every Waukeela girl looks for that enchantment here and finds it.
